Food Provisioning for Charter

Hot and cold soft drinks such as mineral water, juices, tea, coffee, herbal teas & hot chocolate are all provided during your exclusive charter.

If you would like to arrange for food to be supplied aboard the yacht, we would recommend The Secret Restaurant who are able to arrange Canapes, Cold Buffets, Lunch Menus + chef, Champagne & Canape Hampers.

See the link on our website for examples or get in touch with nicola@thesecretrestaurant.co.uk 07986 541 894

Alternatively, if you prefer to bring your own food, please take into consideration the following points:

The yacht has a teak deck which can be permanently damaged by oily substances.

Therefore, please refrain from bringing food items such as crisps, peanuts that are fried rather than baked ; olives or other anti- pastas that are soaked in oil ; deep fried finger food that is likely to be dropped onto the deck.

If you are bringing any alcohol to accompany your meal, it will be at the Skippers discretion as to when and how much can be consumed as the skipper is responsible for your safety when aboard the yacht.  If the wind is too strong, the skipper may prefer to come into port earlier and moor up the yacht where you can enjoy your provisions.  It is worth bearing in mind that most sailors do not consume alcohol at sea as it affects your sense of balance and there is a considerable amount of balancing required aboard a yacht anyway.

The yacht has a large fridge and freezer where food can be stowed and plenty of large, small plates & cutlery.  There is a microwave that can be used when attached to shore power and an oven.  There is also a table down below deck and one that opens up in the cockpit of the top deck.  The skipper or helper will be happy to guide you in the best ways of serving food aboard the yacht during your charter.
