This is an exhilarating experience, normally the preserve of corporate team building competitors, fashionable Hen & Stag weekenders or Brighton's fabulous civil ceremony guests. So why not combine the thrill of this top class sport with a day out in one of UK's most happening cities?! Groups of 10 or more will benefit from our special group rates too.

Coached by our professional instructors, you will go from complete novice, to fully participating in a genuine yacht race. This is a rare opportunity to participate in this safe, healthy & environmentally friendly sport. All equipment & training is provided at our RYA approved sailing centre in Brighton's modern Marina. This is not just sailing... this is hands on yacht racing, competing with your crew against other novices & the elements!

Experience the extravagance of a luxury skippered sailing yacht worth well over quarter of a million pounds! Depending on conditions, you could head to Eastbourne for lunch, head out into the English Channel for some real open water cruising, or take a sightseeing tour along the beautiful Sussex coast line.
If you wish, you can take the wheel under the skipper's careful supervision... or if that sounds too daunting, just sit back and enjoy the voyage with your fellow crew. This teak decked, twin wheeled 45' Dufour is coded for up to 12 people. Families welcome.

FULL DAY ITINERARY (charter) All timings are approximate, but it is essential you meet your Skipper on time in the morning.

09:20 Meet your Skipper at Cafe Rouge on the restaurant board walk, overlooking the yachts (please check confirmation as rendezvous may change). He/she will brief you on the itinerary for the day.

09:40 Board your yacht for a safety and familiarization talk.

10:00 Head out to sea and set sail! Depending on the conditions and tides, you may head to Eastbourne for lunch, head offshore for some blue water cruising, or along the beautiful Sussex coast.. no voyage is ever the same!

12:30 "Hove too" for a light lunch on board, or if conditions are favourable, you might drop anchor or even pop in at Eastbourne, Newhaven or Shoreham-by-sea.

14:00 Set sail again and head back to Brighton. If your confidence is high, why not ask your Skipper if you can try the wheel for a short while?

17:00 Moor up at Brighton Marina and disembark. Your Skipper can issue / sign logbooks for those who want to take their sailing further.

HALF DAY ITINERARY (charter)

All timings are approximate, but it is essential you meet your Skipper on time in the morning.

09:20 / 13:50 Meet your Skipper at Cafe Rouge (please check confirmation as rendezvous may change) on the restaurant board walk, overlooking the yachts. He/she will brief you on the itinerary for the day.

09:40 / 14:10 Board your yacht for a safety and familiarization talk.

10:00 / 14:30 Head out to sea and take a cruising along the beautiful Sussex coastline.

12:30 / 17:00 Moor up at Brighton Marina and disembark. Your Skipper can issue/ sign off logbooks for those who want to take their sailing further.

09:30 Meet the instructors at our cabin on the West Jetty for a safety briefing.

09:45 Board your yacht and head out to sea for a morning of instruction. Your instructors will teach novices the basics and share their knowledge with those with more experience.

12:30 Return to the marina for lunch at one of the many cafe's or restaurants (or ask us about BBQ packages).

14:00 Meet back at the cabin for a full race briefing. Set sail again for tuition on more advanced racing techniques then stand by for the count down to the first in a series of fleet races, putting team building and racing skills into practice. As the yachts are identical, it's team dynamics that win the day!

16:30 Return to the Marina and put the boat to bed.

17:00 Champaign presentation for the winning team, and signing off logbooks for those who want to take their sailing further.

HALF DAY ITINERARY

12:30 Return to the marina for a Champaign presentation for the winning team, and signing off logbooks for those who want to take their sailing further.
