This RYA certified course provides the skills & background knowledge needed to becoming a competent sailor in light winds with an introduction to sailing techniques & manoeuvres, rigging, safety, man over board & basic rules of the road.. Our course has the added advantage of being endorsed for coastal waters. This course is part of the RYA National 'Sailing Scheme'. It can be taken as 4 days intensive (£349) or split over 2 weekends(£175 each). The Level 2 qualification (basic skills) is recognised by Neilson & other holiday companies for Flotilla sailing.

• Course Content: The quickest and easiest way to learn to sail. Our keelboats are small enough to handle easily, but big enough to take a crew of 5 plus your instructor.

• Ability After Course: The sailor will consolidate their basic knowledge of the sport and also learn more advanced skills so that they develop the practical ability to eventually sail the boat without an instructor on board.
